What a wonderful experience! The children are so heart warming. I didn't want to leave. May GOD keep his loving hands on this place and keep it safe."

I fell in love with Casa Aleluya. We can be so selfish complaining about our appearance or how we don't have enough DVDs(guilty). These children hardly have more than bare necessities. I will never forget having devotions with the 5-9 and 9-13 year old girls. They are so beautiful. Many follow Christ and it makes a huge impact on your own life... if anyone has the chance to visit and volunteer, DO IT!!!!!"

I was overwhelmed. It was amazing to see God's hand at work there. I went on the trip expecting to change these kids' lives and instead, God used them to change me. I am hoping to visit CPNA many times in the future and encourage others to do so as well. You do not have to speak fluent Spanish (I could not) nor be able to communicate to them with words. If you are able to give a child a hug, you qualify for making a huge impact in their lives!"

I was 4 when I came to Casa the first time but this was the first trip I remembered and I was 13. The kids touched my heart in a unbelievable way. They are so thankful and loving. They are always smiling and playing with each other. Although I was only able to pick out a few words in their conversations, I managed to form great relationships with many of the kids. I can't wait to get back!"

This was my 3rd trip to Casa Aleluya. I love visiting there and seeing how the children are just so amazing and most of them love to talk about God. This is just amazing to me. I cannot wait to go back!"

What a wonderful experience to serve the children of Casa on my first trip with Sirvientos de Cristo/Mission Guatemala. I was amazed at the children after seeing photos and hearing of the people who previously visited and worked at Casa. The children were very pleasant, well mannered and made such an effort to communicate and involve us in their play and conversations. Thank you for allowing us to worship with you and help in whatever way we could. God bless you in your service to Him."

What a blessing it was to return to Casa Para Ninos Aleluya this year and see the smiles and the growth. We call our Sirvientos De Cristo/Mission Guatemala a "Mission of Love" because our hearts are overjoyed with the love of Christ and we want to share that with the children. It never ceases to amaze me the love we receive from the children....they are Christ in action. The staff are amazing. I will continue to take teams to work at Casa because you cant help but leave blessed and knowing you have been with Christ.

We started with a team of 5, this year we had 26 - everyone who experiences Casa wants to return and bring a friend.....it is an amazing experience."

God has promised that “If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me” (Jeremiah 29:13). This was my attitude when I said yes to being a part of the Guatemala trip plan by my church. I knew deep within that attending the trip would be beneficial to my Christian walk. So when He called me I said yes. Initially being at Casa Para Niños, I was very anxious and I did not know what to expect. Until the Lord revealed himself through the many smiles I encountered. The Holy Spirit is truly there. Among all the madness of Guatemala, there is a safe haven where God can bring his angels to be taken care of. The staff should be commended for their commitment and dedication. In addition if you want to see Jesus' heart pay a visit to Casa Aleluya. Great things are happening there. "

I thank God for the opportunity to go to Casa. Being there was truly a humbling experience. I went with the purpose to serve God and be an example of Christ's Love to the children and was blessed ten thousand times more. The children made me realize how much I am still to learn as a Christian. I saw the love of Christ in them. I wish I had more time to spend with them. I intend to visit Casa again. I will pray for that with all of my heart(what is left of it since I left part of it there). "

My husband and I have twice traveled to Casa Aleluya with the hope of spreading Christ's blessings by serving the staff and children through his love. However after a week left feeling like we were the ones who received the greatest blessings!

If you love children and God is tugging on your heart to travel to Casa Aleluya then please do not hesitate to schedule your trip! Your life will forever be changed as God opens new doors in your heart!

Visiting Casa is like visiting Heaven!"

All I can say is WOW..This was my first mission trip. I expected to be a Blessing to the children but was I wrong. These children blessed me so much that I am ready to come back asap. The Devil tried every trick to stop me from coming (from doubt to physical illness). My Jesus overcame all those problems and knew that I needed this trip to renew my faith. I wanted to bring every one of the children home with me especially the new little girl that came the day we got there. Her name is Maria Regina. I think about her constantly and I am so glad I was there for her first few days. The stories will just break your heart. She will always be in my prayers and thoughts. I pray that God will continue to Bless you and fulfill all your needs."

I had an incredible, eye-opening experience to say the least. I went with my two good friends from college(LSU) during the Christmas time when the kids were out of school. We spent pretty much every hour with the kids and it opened my eyes to how special these kids are. They have incredible hearts and have become very close to me. I would recommend this trip to anyone and I hope to get to return to The House on the Rock in the future!"

Our church group just returned from spending our Thanksgiving week at Casa Aleluya. There was nowhere else I'd rather have been. It was an incredible week. We went there to give and to help, but we received much more than we ever imagined. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, we experiened the pure joy of the Lord with the kids and the staff. It went by way too fast. I pray that God makes a way for us to go back next year. God bless you all who labor at Casa Aleluya. To you we give thanks."

This was my 5th trip to Casa. It just gets better every time. We started out coming with another group doing VBS and the excitement grew in our own church and last year we had 16 come with us. The children at CPNA have a way of capturing your heart and you can never get it back. We have enjoyed praying and remembering them all year long. We have supported 2 dorms each year with Christmas gifts. What a blessing. We check the website on a daily basis to see what's going on with "our kids". When we see each other we say, "Have you been to Guatemala today?" That means have you checked the website. We are so grateful to get the chance to be a part of what's going on. Jesus Christ has made such a difference in these children's life. We are looking forward to returning in 2005. "

I had the most awesome time ever at Casa Aleluya. I just got back to the States and I'm already missing the kids. I know I did nothing compared to the staff members who are there 6 days a week all day, but I'm glad I got to help where I could and that I made relationships with the kids."

Never have I experienced anything like it. This was my first mission trip ever, and I must say it was the best trip of my life. I felt God's presence so strongly while I was there, especially in the kids. The children are so full of love. I'm so glad there is a place like Casa Aleluya where abused kids can go and feel love, compassion, and God. When an experience like this causes me to rethink what I plan on doing after college, I know it can only be God leading me. He led me to come on this trip from the beginning, and He is the only reason I was able to go. My friend Jenny describes it best as "I didn't choose. I was chosen." May God continue to lead, guide, and bless the ministry of CPNA. I pray God leads me there once again."

I am privileged to bring a team to Casa Aleluya each year to do VBS. I must say this year was the best we have ever experienced. I think the last few years have worked up to this wonderful year. We got to see so many make decisions to follow Jesus.

I am amazed, through the obedience of the Clarks', how many Guatemalans have been blessed; the countless Americans that have stepped foot on the property have found their lives forever changed. Things in my life I thought were important do not seem to take precedence in my life since I visited your home. It is an honor and privilege to be used of God in the last Harvest before He comes. We love the kids at Casa Aleluya. We look forward to coming each year. May God richly bless all that you do. Thanks for letting us be a part of your ministry there.

My time at Casa Aleluya was amazing. God's presence is tangible at Casa. I was there for five weeks and have missed it every day since I have been back in the states. It was a very humbling experience that blessed me more than I ever thought it would. The stories of the kids' pasts there are heartbreaking, but the fact that so many of them are constantly wearing huge smiles on their faces is a true testament to the incredible, redeeming power of God's love. The staff at Casa is amazing and through their actions and kind words reveal the love of God every day of the year. I hope that God will lead me back to Casa Aleluya soon; it is an awesome place!"

Everyone asks, "So, how was your trip?"; but I am not exactly sure how to answer. When I got to Casa Aleluya, I thought "I don't want to be here" because who wants to leave a secure, safe, warm, good financial place. Now I can say that I wanted to stay at CPNA because, for a moment, my world stopped. I then returned to the States - a place of materialistic ways. I returned to an insignificant job, driving an insignificant van, while in another world, Josue sleeps soundly, not worrying about where his next meal will come from; the farthest thing from Hector's mind is what he will wear tomorrow to impress everyone. Everyone is content with what they have. Praise God for the revelatory and eye opening experience I have had this past week. "

When I visited with my church I worked in the baby dorm most of my week there. It was an awesome, once in a lifetime experience for me. I am grateful that I was able to go at a young age when most people that visit are adults. If you have never been, it is an awesome experience that should not be missed!"

The only word I can think of to describe my visits to CPNA is unconditional love. You can see it in the staff's eyes when they look at the children and you can see it in the children's eyes when they look at you. They don't care who you are or what you've done....they just love you with the love of Christ. I have been twice and I am already planning my next trip. God used these kids to show me not only how much I take for granted, but how much I ignore God's blessings. He showed me that I get too busy with the little things in life that I don't recognize Him in everything. So whenever I get upset about the littlest things, He brings the children of Guatemala to my mind and how they have so much more to complain about but they sing praises to Him on Thursday nights, get up at 5:00 to have a devotion with Papi, and go out of their way to spend time with the younger ones even when they don't feel like it. So I guess the biggest thing I learned at CPNA is to be grateful and look for God in everything because He will be there even in the bad."

Ten of us recently visited Casa as our college ministry mission trip. Although this was my third mission trip to Guatemala, I was deeply moved during our time at CPNA. Our team had several responsibilities and duties including degreasing the kitchens, painting three different buildings, installing the plumbing for showers, cleaning the school bathrooms, and helping to organize clothes in the clothing attic. Although I believe we helped, none of these jobs was particularly difficult, but each job was done with love for Jesus. Our time interacting with the children was definitely a highlight of our trip. We braided hair, played soccer, sang songs, and blew bubbles! What precious children these are and what an amazing staff makes sure that all of the needs of these children are met! We will continue to pray for you and hope to see you again in the future."

My group installed playground equipment while I, on the other hand, spent all of my time with the children. I was shown what Jesus meant when he said, 'Love one another as I have loved you.' Some in my group have been asked to speak about our trip to different groups and the similar word used to describe our experience is love. I have been changed by Guatemala and her children. I am in awe at the dedication and love shown to each child. When I left, it was without tears because I knew I would be back and the children were in such Godly hands."

The first time I went changed my life. It gave me a new outlook on life. Coming together with brothers and sisters in fellowship makes it worthwhile to me. The morning devotional started the day off right and probably meant the most to me (besides the children). I get attached to people I have never met before in a matter of days. It is sad when another group leaves because we build a lasting friendship. Anyone can go to work. We do a lot of work and get up early, but God strengthens us to get through the day. Without God, I could not do it. This trip has brought me closer to God and has taught me to rely on him in all I do."

I've plumbed in the water heaters in Vencedores and Buen Pastor, did the gas piping in the baby dorm, helped put the water tank system in Las Estrellitas, helped put the plumbing and pour the slab of Vencedores and Buen Pastor, helped put up an awning or two, done a little electrical in the clinic, painted, wiped a few bottoms and washed a few (hundred) little cups and plates in the baby dorm. Got to lead worship once!!!!!!!!

My first trip to Casa was in August of 2000. I committed to go at the urging of my brother-in-law, unsure of how I would raise the money to make the trip. Not only did God provide that money but I've now made 5 trips over the last two years including one trip with my wife and two children and one with my daughter and me and He's been faithful to provide the way each time.

There have been many "God-sized" things happen while I've been at Casa. For example, the first day of my first trip I learned they needed someone to plumb the baby dorm for gas. (I work as a service mechanic for Alagasco.) Coincidence? On another trip I needed a joint of 1" copper to complete plumbing in the water heaters in Vencedores and Steve Osborn said it would be difficult or impossible to get it. That night my wife watched as Steve walked into worship, he paused and stared in the corner near the men's bathroom, walked a few more steps and turned and stared again at the joint of 1" copper propped up in the corner never noticed by anyone until that moment - the day before it was needed. My next trip I was to plumb in the water heaters for Buen Pastor so I brought 60 feet of 1" copper, thinking I might need 30 feet but determined not to run out. As it turned out I needed approximately 59 feet and a few inches.

I think that it's the almost visibly seeing God's hand on everything that's done at Casa from the worship and Bible times to digging a ditch for a sewer line that has me thinking about my next trip as I leave each time. Not a day has gone by in the last two years that I haven't thought of Casa Para Ninos Aleluya. Nothing other than my relationship with Jesus Christ and my family has so greatly affected my life and I can't wait to see how God will allow me to continue to be a part of His great work there in the future."

I heard about Casa Aleluya online and was confident in coming here by myself because I knew, from the website, that God was blessing this place!(And what a place it is! ) I worked in the baby dorm for two months in June and July. I have never had a more tiring, rewarding experience in my life. I must say that changing poopie diapers is not a glorified job but to have several little ones call you, "Mama," it's worth it. Though no one sees you clean behind and underneath a highchair or pick up that extra piece of trash or bathe another child with poopie pants, it does not matter. Approval from man is empty but reward from the Father is amazing! It's hard to put into words my experience, so I urge you come see for yourself what the Lord is doing here. Stay longer than you think you could..... "

The most meaningful thing about my trip to guatemala was that it changed my heart. Even though I already had a relationship with the Lord, it brought me closer to Him than I thought was possible. He revealed Himself to me through my own heart, my own smiles, and my own tears, as well as others I was blessed with meeting on the trip.

I will never be able to fully explain or understand how holding those children and simply giving them my time showed me the ways Jesus can move me in ways that i thought i was untouchable. As I prayed when I started on the trip, may my life never be the same."

Our trip to Guatemala was an amazing experience that the Lord truly used to touch my heart. Casa Para Niños is God's place for these children. It is a place of healing and refuge for all who come, not only the children. I still cannot get their sweet faces out of my mind, oh how they blessed my heart. We had to let Jesus' love flow through us to them while we were their.

To me, they were the ones being Jesus, with Him so alive in their lives. Unconditional love poured through them in the outstretched arms and trusting hearts."

While in Guatemala, I truly enjoyed serving and helping whenever it was needed, but God brought me there for different reasons. God's presence filled that ministry. I believe He was watching over each child as His chosen ones - I believe He held each hand.

God's amazing grace was seen in the eyes of each child. His faithfulness revealed in the hearts of each child. After all that the children had been through — circumstances we can't even fathom — they still had a dream for their futures and their hope was only found in their Jesus. A lesson learned for us all."
